Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was located at the very top of the building, and at times, noises from the bar area disrupted my sleep, especially on Saturdays. However, the rooms were large, toasty, and full of history, making me feel like I was stepping back in time to my ancestors' wedding night.
The hotel had some charming character with uneven floors but was large and pleasantly cozy. However, the Wi-Fi connection could be a bit unreliable. The room had an old-fashioned vibe with a basic bathroom, while the single bed was noticeably lower than the foot of the bed due to the camber.
The hotel offers spacious rooms that are fantastic but in need of some basic attention. The service is brilliant and very kind, making the stay enjoyable. The location is great for exploring the area, with some economic struggles in the past few years. The dining experience is excellent, featuring locally sourced ingredients. The facilities are well-kept and enhance the stay.
